Guilty Pleasure

Some people have said, “I don’t want to do the paleo challenge because I go into things 100%.  I can’t live without [choose any food], and I don’t want to feel guilty for eating it during the challenge.”  I love your honesty, if this is you.  It’s OK that you’re not completely sold on the benefits of eating a strict diet (I figure if you were sold, then you’d at least try it.  If you’re sold but you just don’t want to give up your foods, then you’re not completely sold). I hope that one day you can risk 1 month without your favorite gut-tearing, insulin inflating food to understand the difference it will make in your life.  Paleo isn’t just about fat loss, but it’s acknowledging how food affects our mind, body, and spirit.

3 years ago I ate pizza, macaroni and cheese, and ice cream regularly.  I was a 30lbs heavier Jenna.  I did my first paleo challenge because I stopped making excuses and I needed the support of my friends.  It was one of the hardest tasks to accomplish, but I made it through, and so can you.
