The paleo challenge is a month away and many people will be going through, “Is it worth it or not?” There is a $20 entrance fee, and it’s true that some will convince themselves $20 is not worth it when they can do the challenge alone. If you don’t need the help of a group or coach, then it’s perfect to participate alongside the group.
Why our members enjoy the Paleo Challenge:
Guidance and Support: You might wonder why you’re hungry all the time or how others are handling paleo around non-paleo roommates and family members. Our weekly meetings are an opportunity to help each other explore strengths and weaknesses when it comes to food. Each week, your coaches will look at your food log to help you stay on track for a more successful paleo experience.
Accountability: This is the best reason why people enjoy our Paleo Challenge. What is stopping you from eating meat and vegetables any old day? Accountability, support, education. Even if you are not participating in the challenge but trying it alongside, there’s nothing stopping you from saying, “I’m not really in the challenge. . . ”
Weekly Prizes: Each week we will have 1 mini challenge where small prizes can be won. In the past, we’ve given out Bath and Body Works gift packages and Camelback water bottles.
Sharing of Recipes: It’s easy to get bored with paleo, but our members love when they can get together for a Paleo Pot Luck.
Mind, Body, and Spirit: You’ll gain clarity, energy, strength, and, within a few weeks, curb those mid afternoon cravings and nappy times. Paleo does so much more than just help you lose weight.
End of the Challenge Winner: The challenge is $20 because we believe there should be a Paleo Challenge winner. This person typically stands out by attending meetings, weekly submitting their food log, and is honest about maintaining 100% paleo for 6 weeks. We take into account progress with their before/after WOD, before/after photos, and before/after measurements. If someone knowingly eats a non-paleo item, they are ineligible to be a winner of the challenge. Last time, Audra S. and Mike R. won $200 each.
