Bite Counter.

“The Bite Counter doesn’t just tally your calories, it plays disciplinarian too. You can preset a bite limit per meal or per day, so if you find yourself digging into that devil’s food cake a little too deeply after dinner, the device will sound an alarm for every unauthorized bite.”   Read more: http://healthland.time.com/2011/08/03/bite-counter-tracks-every-bite-in-your-meal/#ixzz1U3UinT3Y

The Bite Counter is worn on the wrist and counts the number of bites the wearer takes

What do I think? Well. Obviously we have Zero Self Control. I figure this thing is supposed to prevent us from over eating, you know, too many snackies during the day.  We eat because of downfalls, celebrations, and sometimes just to stay awake! I didn’t really read this whole article, but a “bite counter” counts bites, not calories, right? So, how does this gadget differentiate between 1000 bites of meat and veggies versus 1000 bites of other stuff.  Someone is going to make millions and it will maybe help .0001% of the people who purchase it (I’m guessing).

Our addiction to food kills people just as others’ addiction to crack, but one is more socially and economically acceptable.  It starts with Kids. They are 1 years old and you put the cake right in front of them. What’s next? A thousand tantrums over the next 10 years for their sugar crack.  Everyone seems to be looking for answers – why do my kids cry over their food so much?!  Stop enabling your children – they cannot drive, so don’t put them in the driver’s seat. They most definitely should be eating quality meats, vegetables, some fruit and fats, little starch, and no sugar.

Parents, You are in the drivers seat.  Prove to me how Pop Tarts, gummy snacks, After School pizza bites are helping your children become responsible, healthy adults one day; is it because they are fortifying vitamins, and that’s the only way you’re kids will get it. BALONEY! Let’s face it, you are a crack baby.   You might say, “Well, you gotta live a little.”  You don’t understand…this whole thing is about living a little…reversing diabetes, preventing heart disease, obesity, arthritis, mood swings, depression.  We can change this, but Steak and Shake has bottomless pancakes for $3.99.  What a great deal and my kids can eat free!
