How do you treat diabetes?

“In many instances, lifestyle changes must be complemented by a regimen of medications to control blood glucose levels, high blood pressure and cholesterol as well as to prevent heart attack and stroke, which claim the lives of many diabetes patients.” – American Heart Association

Do you notice the common trend?  Although “lifestyle changes” are often suggested when you do some light research, medicine is still a close second.   Taking medicine is inevitable and spending more money consulting with doctors is just a way of life from now on, so it seems.  Medicine is SUPER and saves a lot of lives!    But at the end of the day, it’s a great way for Doctors and Pharmaceutical companies to enable your poor lifestyle choices by Taking medicine to eat bad foods in moderation rather than your supremely healthful alternative, Eating meat, veggies, nuts and seeds so you won’t rely on health insurance to pay for thousands of dollars worth of doctors visits and medications.  Do you notice the “must be complimented” part from the American Heart Association? They say this because doctors just cut to the chase.  They know that you don’t have enough self control to eat right.  Sounds professional…

CrossFit and Paleo. Read The Paleo Solution to learn what happens INSIDE OF YOUR BODY when you ingest grains, dairy, processed, and sugary foods.   It’s not good folks.  Grains are not healthy.  And tons of foods you eat are Imitation of the real thing pumped with vitamins.  You might lose a few pounds skipping breakfast and lunch with a protein shake branded by Special K to be a healthful alternative for you, but this is not acceptable for living a long, healthy life.

Get. Off. Your. Butt.

Secondly, CrossFit is absolutely, hands down the best way achieve the healthiest body imaginable.

Excuses #1: I have no time.
Reply #1: CrossFit Saves you time.  3 hours per week you can get the most rewarding workout of your life.  You will lose tons of weight.  You will gain self confidence. You will have a life-changing experience.  Think about how much time you spend sitting on your butt.  Watching TV. Reading.  Driving. Going out to Dinner.  Choosing to Exercise is for your wellness, so you can live longer, so your bones stay hard, and your joints strong.

Excuses #2: It’s too much money.

Why do you spend more on a Toyota? Why do you spend more on fancy jeans? Why do you spend more at a fancy restaurant?  Why do you spend more on diapers? Why….Ah. because in the end, you get what you pay for. Our prices reflect personal attention given from an experienced, professional trainer to you.  We coach you through and through.  You get this for $4-$12 per class.  You bulk up all the classes and it costs around $100. Frankly, it seems a little cheep when you put it that way.

Excuses #3: I have a bum knee, back, hips, foot, belly….etc.

You have problem somewhere in your body.  You are resulting to a higher risk of diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. CrossFit workouts can be rehabilitative when programmed properly with knowledgeable coaching.  Our workouts can also be modified so you are not constantly and consistently continuing to injure yourself.  At the end of the day, a bad knee is an excuse to be lazy.  People with no arms and legs do CrossFit.
