Share Paleo with your friends

This is a Real Life story from Robb Wolf’s website. Paleo isn’t a diet.  It’s a way of life that helps you feel better and prevent sickness – from headaches to digestion problems to the common cold and flu to autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis to cancer. Robb,
Let me start by saying that I am Italian, born and raised in Italy. If you know anything about how Italians eat, you know we have bread every day and very often we have pasta, lots of dairy products etc.

For many years I was having problems such has frequent headaches, feeling bloated all the time, chronic diarrhea and a lot of other symptoms that always made me feel just not right.

When I started to really noticing these symptoms, I realized I am lactose intolerant. So, I eliminated milk from my diet (another huge thing for us Italians – all the caffe lattes and cappuccinos!) and started drinking lactose free milk hoping that that was the cause of all my problems.  I gave my body a bit of time but not much changed.  Things got a bit better, but still not good at all.

One day I hear somebody talking about the Paleo Diet.  I am a crossfitter so at our gym we started talking about it and one of my friends decided to give it a try in order to get ready for his first Marathon.  For him it was a success and at that point it really got my attention!

I started researching a bit and in my search I came across your book and decided to get it.  At the same time at our CrossFit gym our trainer decided to have a “30 Day Paleo Challenge”.  Reading your book and doing the 30 days of the challenge literally changed my life! The first two weeks were pretty bad, I had no energy, I felt grumpy!, my workouts were horrible, then something happened and by week three I was reborn!!!  🙂

Everything started to change and while this was happening in my body I was reading your book and everything made sense!  At the end of the challenge I was another person and now after 5 months I can tell you that I am feeling great!  All of those symptoms are gone, cured, vanished from my system and I am so grateful!!

I apologize if this is not well written, but I wanted to let you know how your book changed my life and I hope my message is clear enough! I am trying to help some of my friends to get a better nutrition, sharing my experience with them and making sure they all read it, too.

Thank you!!!! Thank you for sharing your experiences, your problems and your knowledge with us, I appreciate it very much!
